Doma /ˈdo-ma/ The act of taming a force in motion. Between Control, Resistance and Execution
Detroit conceived and produced DOMA as a visual exploration of “doma”, taming a force in motion through tension and repetition.
The project reflects a shift: the human decides, the machine executes, yet the process remains unstable, echoing the resistance of a rough rodeo.
Conceived as a raw, immersive film, DOMA presents the machine as a living, unpredictable force, where imbalance defines each sequence.
A hybrid production combining AI, cinematic direction, VFX, and sound design shaped a visceral visual language, framing DOMA as a manifesto on the fragile balance between human intention and machine autonomy.
